We continue to be committed to your well-being and comfort. We have updated our policies and protocols to ensure the safety of our guests, staff, and community. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, and are updating this page with mandates by the CDC guidelines and local officials.

We are deeply committed to the well-being of our guests and community. We ask that you:

  • Please stay home if you are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms
  • Masks are not required for guests that have been fully vaccinated. If you have not been vaccinated or completed your vaccination schedule you will be required to wear a mask in public areas.
  • Wash your hands often and utilize hand sanitizing dispensers throughout the property.

The Main Lodge is open seven days a week for hotel reservations; with a two night minimum for weekends, and a three night minimum stay for holidays. Our cottage, Tuckaway has a two night minimum for weekdays, and a three night minimum stay for weekends.

Breakfast is provided daily but please note that our restaurant is closed Monday through Wednesday for dinner service.


Payment for all guest rooms will be paid in full at the time of booking. Our cottage Tuckaway requires a fifty percent deposit.

Guests will be required to sign and acknowledge a COVID-19 Declaration of Health and Hold Harmless Agreement upon arrival at Deer Mountain Inn.

You will receive a detailed email in advance of your stay with all the information you will need for the duration of your time with us.

Your room will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with cleaning products and protocols meeting current EPA guidelines.

We will not be servicing your room during your stay. Please contact the front desk to request towels or linens and if you need to leave your full garbage bags or linens in the hamper baskets provided outside your door for removal.

Breakfast is included in your stay and served daily from 8 to 10 a.m. in the dining room.

Please be sure to hand your key to a front desk attendant during check-out. There is a $35 fee for lost keys. The credit card on file will be charged for any incidentals incurred during your stay.

We will email you a final receipt within 24 hours of check-out.

Front desk reception hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 8 a.m to 9 p.m Thursday through Sunday.  Please do not hesitate to ask one of our front desk attendants for any further questions or help during your stay.

Common Areas

Our staff is frequently cleaning and sanitizing all public areas including the lobby, bathrooms, dining and seating areas, doorknobs, and handrails.

The communal coffee station and mini-fridge are not available at this time.

We have 200+ acres of beautiful mountain land for R+R and exploration!


The Deer Mountain Inn Restaurant and Bar operate Thursday through Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. by reservation only. Seating is still limited at this time and we are not accepting walk-ins.  Service hours of operation are subject to change. Currently, we are not offering takeout but plan to do so in the near future.
